We always ask for a small contribution to the conference room rental and ask all who come for a small contribution to the common meal after the ceremony - which can be a (finished) dish, or eg juice. (No alcohol !)
Women, who come and are having their period (moontime), are welcome to participate in the ceremony with the the Grandmother Moonpipe (of course, also everyone else…). For questions you can contact me directly under moonpipe@goodmedicine.at .
This time we will continue something that we started last July when a small altar in the center of the circle was set up during the ceremony, where everything which you would like to be blessed by the pipe spirits, can be laid upon. Last time, this had felt really good to us all.
All Pipes are welcome!

This time our monthly pipe ceremony had a very special pipe coming, the Grandmother Moon Pipe. It was also a premiere for me, as I am the Keeper of this pipe and I was very nervous. It is something else, if you do ceremony with many during a monthly ceremony, different if you sit alone with the Pipe and something else again when there are many people coming to see the Grandmother Moon Pipe and you have the privilege to be the Keeper of the Pipe that many came to see. I was afraid, but there was no reason to be, as the Pipe does its work completely on its own. I felt a pressure on me, the Keeper of the Pipe, thinking that I have to deliver an absolutely amazing ceremony and this was totally in the wrong place. My lesson was to trust and to step back, because the Pipe does its work on it´s own and I only carry the pipe to the people. We read a story, given to us by Changing Man. Once the grandmother came out, I felt immediately better, for I felt that she was touching the people, I felt her presence and the most amazing moment during the ceremony was for me when we all sat in the circle, I held the pipe in the middle of the circle and we all sang together. I felt unity in the songs, many voices, strong energy. Yes, it was a ceremony to honor the women, we were at the center of it, together with the Grandmother. But, as balance is that which is important to bring into being these days, we ended up talking about men and how it is a big issue for me that there should not only be women´s circles, but also men´s circles. Celebrate that which makes us women women, honor the gift of the grandmothers but also listen to her advice to bring balance. Many of you out there might think that “oh, men dominate everything these days” - as this might seem to be true for some areas of life, in the end it is a matter of your perception and nothing more. Feel strong as a women and you will feel equal to the men. Women and Men each carry special medicine and BOTH of which should be properly honored. Suppression of women is not the way to go just as over-emancipation is not the right way either. Balance needs to be brought to both. Grandmother, may you guide us!

January 2010
In January I had my second ceremony “in public” with the Moon Pipe.
We sat in a seperate circle and focused on the pipe and the messages we got.
The other circle had more pipes coming and it was talked about the “Spirit Sight”.
Maybe someone else will be able to “fill the gaps” here.
February 2010
And in February, so we´re talking about yesterday, I joined the big circle
as no specific “moon circle” was needed and that felt really good.
Big message for the group yesterday was:
“See everyone for what they truly are” - leaving all the crap
aside, leaving all the things that might bother you about others behind and
find that place inside which makes you feel a deep love for all beings just
the way they are. The rest is just perceived stuff anyhow, I don´t think
that this has anything to do with what people really are - at their core -
namely beautiful expressions of the Creator.

Okay, I have to admit, I haven´t written on here for a while because I simply
haven´t felt like writing anything, anywhere. But I will try to make up for
it at least a little bit.
Jim´s Visit to Austria, December 2010
As we were not able to go to the Pipekeepers Gathering last year, it was great that
Jim agreed to follow our invite to fly over to see us. I loved to have Jim here with
us in December, although I must confess that what in my mind started as a need to
see and talk to Jim and just “hang out” turned into a rather busy time for him.We
scheduled his lectures, ceremonies, had to find a seminarroom and fit other
engagements of his in. In the end, I felt like Jim came and saw, did lectures and
then had to leave again. Well, he really did more than that.
Lectures and Ceremonies
I really missed almost all of them. I was so busy to take care of all the framework
that I didn´t find time to sit at his lectures. But I heared that he deeply touched
people during his presentations of his book and audio CDs, during his talks and
in the ceremonies. I have the opportunity though to now listed to his CDs and
make up for a least a tiny bit. How lucky am I. I promised myself - next time I´ll
make arrangements so that I have more time. And be more relaxed.
The Coming of a Grandmother
One of the ceremonies I was able to attend, involved my personal pipe. The pipe
who I have been working with for years was ready for a change. I always wondered
why “my” pipe always wanted to be rather plain, simple, no fancy artwork, nothing
that would define a bit more from the outside as to who it was.
That changed when Jim came and talked with me, the spirits and pipe and in
ceremony the moon pipe for the pipe circle over here was born.
I am so honored. And I am so happy.
And so, once this had happened…how should I put this…I got the orders.
White leather, new stem, new wrap…and so the transformation of the
pipe I am carrying has begun. It´s exciting. And the difference in the “feel”
is amazing.
Awakening new pipes
Yes, there were new pipes, which we held an awakening ceremony for.
Guided by the other pipe carriers some instructions were given
to the new pipe carriers, and we hope that all the new pipes will
join us during the open ceremonies held during the 2010 year.
Much more has happened during the time he was here. I hope next time
we´ll have more time with him.
